DESCRIPTION:
P.E.O. is an international organization of women whose activities are philanthropic, educational and social. (JB is one of three local chapters) P.E.O. is interested in bringing women increased opportunities for higher education. It owns and operates Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri.
ANNUAL/RECURRING EVENTS:
May - a Grinnell High School senior woman is given a local P.E.O. Scholarship each year.
