DESCRIPTION:
The Grinnell-Newburg Band Boosters is an organization that supports band activities at all levels, middle school and high school (5th-12th grades). The objectives of the organization is to maintain enthusiasm and interest in band activities, to provide financial support to both the middle school and high school band programs, and to aid in communication among band directors, parents, and community.
HOW ARE WE ORGANIZED?
Associate Members
All parents and guardians of students who are in the band program are considered Associate Members of the Band Boosters. Other interested persons are also invited to participate.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors consists of the Officers, Band Directors, Chairpersons of each committee and class representative from each grade level. The Board of Director's duties include organizing the fund-raising events, working at the fund-raising events and attending approximately six meetings per year. All terms are for one year.
During the local school year, meetings are held on the 2nd Monday, each month, at 5:30pm in the HS Band Room.
