DESCRIPTION:
The Grinnell Area Arts Council (GAAC) was organized in 1979 to promote, encourage, develop and assist in the understanding, appreciation and financial support of the arts and other cultural activities in the Grinnell area. In 2008 the GAAC was merged with the Grinnell Community Theatre.
They maintain a website at www.grinnellarts.org www.grinnellarts.org. It includes information about a variety of arts activities in the community, including gallery information and community theatre productions.
HOURS:
Board meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Call for location of meeting.
ANNUAL/RECURRING EVENTS:
June-Summer Arts: a two week camp fo kids ; Late May through August-Thursday Music in the Park.
