DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Education  Program (SE*ED) provides popular Monday morning programs designed for people 55 years and older. Programs are designed to extend knowledge on health care issues, diseases, nutrition, community resources, current and cultural events, as well as less conventional topics like art, biology, history or religion. The lecture format programs are open, informative and flexible to accommodate this wide range of topics. Participants have the opportunity to listen and learn from GRMC's physicians, support staff, regional healthcare experts, Grinnell College professors and local historians and experts. All programs are free and no pre-registration is required. Seniors needing transportation may call 641-236-2593 the Thursday prior to the program to make transportation arrangements. See our Web site:   http://www.grmc.us/    for details on this and other GRMC programs. SE*ED is a popular program for local seniors.
