DESCRIPTION:
A part of Marshalltown's Heart of Iowa BBBS, the program in Grinnell matches carefully screened adult volunteers with selected elementary school children. Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is about developing a caring one-on-one friendship with a child. It is about helping children reach their highest potential so that they can become caring, competent and confident people.
